- Designs solutions by producing various complex models that describe each component sufficiently to form a blueprint of the solution to be implemented. With a focus on regional/global roadmap that in turn shapes and supports the delivery of projects, ensuring activities and outputs remain fit-for-purpose and reflect requirements of stakeholders
- Leads and facilitates the translation of requirements and user needs into an effective solution architecture and design that works across various products or systems
- Inserts technical authority and governance across the lifetime of agreed projects of medium to high complexity. Reviews compatibility and technical specifications of the current architecture to recommend appropriate, timely and necessary improvements or enhancements
- Coordinates competitive analyses and market validation activities, including benchmarking, trend analysis, and prototype testing. Assists with the implementation of new methodologies to test market conditions, identify opportunities, and inform decision-making
- Works with testing teams to ensure testing strategies are appropriate for the solution. Troubleshoots problems of high complexity
- Leads architectural efforts for medium-sized projects (e.g., a project module or existing technology map review) or complex components of projects
- Participates in innovation and/or research and development initiatives as needed
